Climate and wildlife.
Andalucia is sub tropical and enjoys over 300 sunny days a year.
This region, with its spectacular views and mountain paths, is a favourite with Walkers, Birdwatchers, Artists, Photographers, Botanists and Mountain bikers. Wild life abounds and one may see Red Deer, Fallow Deer, Wild Boar, Vultures, Buzzards and Eagles.

Comares is a whitewashed, mountain village, built on rock and standing 739m above sea level, rising high above the surrounding area. This historic village can be traced back to the Moorish influence in the 3rd. Century. There are still narrow, cobbled streets but today there are also bars, restaurants, small supermarkets, a post office and two banks.
